We pride ourselves on offering the complete package so that our guests can focus on their purpose or just relax.We provide free WiFi and offer sim-cards and help you set up your Tanzanian phone number (no need for you to figure out the system or queue in town), Swahili language courses, cultural immersions, research assistance and training as well as Airport pick ups and drop offs can be arranged. We offer “home” cooked meals on request and explicit meals for full board clients.
We offer easily accessible cheapest to the town center, nearby supermarkets and restaurants or any other destination. We can help you plan your perfect safari, trip to waterfalls and hot springs or even to Zanzibar – tell us your wishes and we will help you make them come true! Our house is located in the very safe neighborhood of Karanga,at only 10 minutes from the town center. Our neighborhood is quiet, peaceful, and very green. Around the corner, you experience the local Swahili life, in a small shopping street that provides all basic necessities, such as fruit and vegetables, drinks, a hairdresser, printshop, small bars and restaurants, etc.
Living with us gives you the opportunity to experience both town and village life and to interact with locals. At Mama Thea homes we offer a range of rooms – private double, twin or triplets. All are comfortably furnished and yet are the cheapest in Kilimanjaro. Some have a lovely view to the garden. We also provide tents with camping matrasses, pillows and sleeping bags.Payment upon arrival by cash and online payment.
